A Des Moines, Iowa man is recovering from shooting himself in the groin. He was drinking when his gun went off just before 4 a.m. on Saturday.

Ironically it was 5 o'clock somewhere when this happened. I have a few questions.
1 - Why was he drinking with a loaded weapon near his groin?
2 - Why was he drinking with a loaded weapon near his groin?

Snakes ~~On A Plane~~--In the Attic

Peter and Anne Gibbons recently found a 4 foot python in the attic of their Siddington, England home. The non-venomous Darwin Carpet python had escaped from a neighbor's tank in October. Anne says, "We were going to call the SPCA but Peter tracked down the owner, who had since moved to Oxford, and she came back and took it away."

This is why I have yet to go into my own attic. Knowing my luck I'd pop my head up there and find a rattlesnake nest. And if that happens, I'm taking the wife, the cats and we're moving to the arctic. I don't care that Mrs. McWilley hates cold, I will not live anywhere that has snakes in the attic. Ok, maybe I won't move to the arctic. Maybe I'll just call Samuel L. Jackson.
