The Texas Giant At Six Flags Over Texas In Arlington Reopens

Six Flags Texas Giant has been closed, since Rosa Ayala-Goana died in July from falling out the ride over 75 feet in the air. Rosa's family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Six Flags, the trial is still being disputed in court.

Many riders waited over an hour or more Saturday for the wooden coaster that features twisting banked turns,and a drop of 79 degrees to reopen. New precautions are now in effect, redesigned restraint bars and new seat belts have been updated to each of the train carts .

Six Flags cautioned some park-goers that some people may not be able to ride, due to their body shapes or sizes. Also there was a trial seat for the park goers as they entered the line to the Texas Giant to test out the new safety upgrades.
