Tonight (Oct. 22) marked the first half of the final battle round on Season 3 of 'The Voice' before we head to the knockout rounds. Country coach Blake Shelton had one battle, which Cassadee Pope won, and one steal, which he used to snatch up MarissaAnn from the the clutches of defeat. He used his last steal and can complete his team tomorrow night (Oct. 23.)

How did things shake out for Team Blake as we inch closer and closer to the live shows? Read on and find out.

Battle 1: Ryan Jirovec vs. Cassadee Pope: Cassadee Wins!

This battle wasn't televised for more than 30 seconds. Boo! Hiss! We wanted to see how Jirovec stacked up against Pope, but we only saw a snippet of their battle. It was no shock, however, that Pope was the one that Shelton chose to keep on his team. Her coach's comments were televised, with Shelton saying, "Cassadee has a signature sound and is further along in her artistry, so I have to go with her." And that meant it was the end of the road for Ryan Jirovec as none of the other judges spent their steal on him. Pope, who was in a previously signed and touring band, is a wise choice for Shelton, since she has experience and talent, and he can build upon her already rock solid foundation. Plus, her middle name is Blake, so it's fate that she works with Shelton.

Steal Attempt: Blake Steals MarissaAnn!

Shelton exercised his final steal and scooped up the extremely talented MarissaAnn, who was sent home by her coach Christina Aguilera after a heated battle round. She is a belter, and the youngest performer in the competition. "I think MarissaAnn...I was blown away by  her performance. I am glad I had a steal there," Shelton said after he threw her a lifeline. Needless to say, MarissaAnn was thrilled that Shelton pushed his button for her at the 11th hour.

So there you have it. Blake Shelton doesn't have any more steals. Let's see what he does on tomorrow's conclusion of the battle rounds.
