Things From Lubbock We’d Like to See in Amarillo

Let me just say, Amarillo needs this more than anything.  I love this place.  I make it a point every time I'm in Lubbock which is often to stop into Sprouts and stock up.  They have the most amazing deals on meat and their produce is amazing.  I will say this, they have the best gummy bears hands down.  They have it all.  It's a healthy food store, yet it is a heavenly place.

It's a movie theater where you can go and have a meal.  It's a movie theater where you can enjoy an adult beverage.  It's a dinner and a movie and drinks all combined into one.

The kids want a milkshake during the movie, guess what, they can have one.  You want to enjoy a burger while you are suffering through Batman vs. Superman, well you can have one.

I would love to see this in Amarillo or at least something similar.

There was a rumor that we were going to get an Alamo Drafthouse, but alas, it hasn't happened.

Yes, concerts, Lubbock gets all the great concerts because they have the venue that can hold over 10,000 people.  Amarillo doesn't.  Wouldn't it be great if we could have a venue that would draw the big acts back to Amarillo.  I would rather drive 15 minutes to see an amazing show than 2 hours.

That midnight drive back to Amarillo from Lubbock is killer.

Don't get me wrong, Amarillo has some great Italian, but Orlando's in Lubbock and is simply amazing.  In fact, their original location is the perfect place for an amazing date night out because it has that romantic feel and the food is beyond delicious.

I would love to see this place in Amarillo someday.

Let's face it, this place is a kid's dream.  Who am I kidding, it's a kid at heart's dream as well.  It would be amazing to have something like this in Amarillo.
