Sure, it won her an Emmy and made her more famous than ever before, but two and a half years later, did Tina Fey's dead-on impersonation of Sarah Palin hurt her in the long run? According to Fey, you betcha.

Fey writes about her stint playing the former Vice Presidential candidate in her new memoir, 'Bossypants,' in which she claims it prevented her Emmy-winning comedy '30 Rock' from gaining viewers.

"Some may argue that exploiting Governor Palin and her family helped bring attention to my low-rated TV show. I am proud to say you are wrong," she writes (via USA Today).

"My TV show still enjoys very low ratings. In fact, I think the Palin stuff may have hurt the TV show. Let's face it, between [co-star] Alec Baldwin and me there is a certain fifty percent of the population who think we are pinko Commie monsters."

For old times' sake, watch one of Fey's hilarious Sarah Palin skits from 'SNL' below.
