The Toot N' Totum on NE 24th & Grand was robbed early Wednesday morning, police are searching for the suspect.

Around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday morning police were called to the Toot N' Totum on NE 24th & Grand after the store was robbed. The suspect entered the store carrying a knife, went behind the counter and demanded money from the cash register and personal items from the two employees.

The Amarillo Police Department are looking for a "slim Hispanic man, about 6 foot tall with a mustache and scars on his face", according to Amarillo.com. "He was last seen wearing a white or gray hoodie with a design on the front and dark colored jeans, police said."

The suspect was last seen running off to the west of the store.
