I don't know about you... but i am not really in the whole "haunted house scene". However, with Halloween just 19 days away, we are all in the mood for some thrills and chills! With just about everyone having a Netflix account these days- here are some of the top Scariest Movies on Netflix to help you get in the spirit this Halloween!

1. Insidious- Believing their home is haunted, a suburban schoolteacher and his wife uproot their family and move to a new place hoping to leave the evil spirits behind -- only to discover that the house wasn't haunted ... but their eldest son is.

2. Stephen King's Children of the CornA young couple stranded in a rural town falls into the sinister hands of a mysterious group of children who murder all of the town's adults at the command of their leader, known only as "He Who Walks Behind the Rows."

3. PsychoMarion makes a fateful stop at the Bates Motel -- run by mama's boy Norman Bates -- in this remake of the 1960 shocker. Marion goes missing, triggering an investigation by her lover, her sister and a private eye, who discover Norman's morbid secret.

4. CandymanWhile researching urban myths, grad student Helen Lyle (Virginia Madsen) learns about the Candyman (Tony Todd), a hook-handed creature who's said to haunt a Chicago housing project. In this creepy film based on a Clive Barker story, the Candyman is made flesh by other people's belief in him. Not surprisingly, Lyle manages to summon him. Soon, the Candyman has committed a series of murders, and the cops are holding Lyle responsible.

5. Case 39To rescue 10-year-old Lilith Sullivan from her abusive parents, idealistic social worker Emily Jenkins welcomes the girl into her home -- only to discover that Lilith isn't quite the innocent victim she claims to be.

6. Don't Be Afraid of the Dark- Soon after moving in with her father and his new girlfriend, young Sally discovers she isn't alone in the house: strange creatures live there -- and they might not be as friendly as Sally thinks. Guillermo del Toro co-writes this horror film.

7. Paranormal Activity 2- Doors slamming shut, shadows moving across the floor -- the unexplained, terrifyingly real supernatural forces are back, and this time, Dan, Kristi, Ali, baby Hunter and dog Abby become part of the nightmare as the cameras roll

8. Fear Island- Five students on spring break meet up at a secluded island and discover that they've become prey to a mysterious and vengeful killer. As the body count rises, the remaining members of the group learn their predicament relates to past misdeeds.

9. Darkness Falls- When Kyle (Chaney Kley) was a kid, he claimed he woke up from sleep to find the Tooth Fairy about to kill him. From then on, everyone figured him for a loony -- except his childhood sweetheart, Caitlin (Emma Caulfield), and her brother, Michael (Lee Cormie). When Kyle returns to his hometown, it seems he wasn't so crazy, after all: An indefinable evil has settled in the town of Darkness Falls, and Kyle must save everyone from its wrath.

10. The Human Centipede: First Sequence- After their car breaks down while in Germany, two American women wind up at a remote villa and soon find themselves trapped in a nightmare. Dr. Josef Heiter kidnaps them for his demented experiment to create a human "centipede".

11. A Haunting in SalemIn this spine-chilling indie horror flick, a sheriff relocates to Salem, Mass., with his family -- only to discover that the house they've moved into is plagued by an ancient curse and haunted by malicious spirits.

12. Hansel & Gretel-  When he becomes stranded on a lonely stretch of road, Eun-Soo is led by a mysterious girl to her lovely home in the woods where everything is magically picture-perfect -- except that Eun-Soo is unable to leave.
