If things don't work out for Dr. Dan Lawson in his position as school director for Tullahoma City Public Schools in Tennessee, he could probably carve out a niche for himself in Nashville. Lawson recently used spot-on impressions of Johnny Cash and Garth Brooks, parodying two country music classics, to make snow day announcements for the schools in his district.

Readers can press play above to watch Lawson's parody of Cash's "I Walk the Line." He introduces himself, Cash style, in the black-and-white video, then lets the students know "because it's cool, there is no school." He closes his performance with a message to students to "stay out of jail" -- a nod to Cash's famous prison concerts, perhaps?

Lawson's Brooks-themed snow day announcement is a parody of "Friends in Low Places," re-named "Friends in Snow Places." Readers can see that clip below.

"Yeah I'm not big on missing school / But the roads are slick and the weather's cool," Lawson croons. "Oh, I've got friends in snow places."

Winter weather has struck the South in recent days. Nashville, which is located about an hour north of Tullahoma, has also been blanketed in snow. The frosty conditions and single-digit temperatures have also meant school closings in that area.
