After all the sad news about Texas police officers the past few weeks here is a heart warming story to help lift your spirits!

Last week, about 8 hours outside of Amarillo, in Navasota, Texas, two police officers are being called heroes after delivering a beautiful baby boy named Oscar at a gas station off of Highway 6.

Deputy Steven Siracusa from the Grimes County Sheriff's Office and DPS State Troop Dylan Duke sprung into action when it was clear that Oscar's mother would not make it to the hospital. Depending on their brief training in the academy and directions over dispatch from the local St. Jude Children's Hospital, the two officers successfully delivered the baby.

Trooper Duke said to KHOU, "I think it's something law enforcement needed, with these dark times we are going through right now with all the negativity."
