Wonderland opened up this past weekend and that means lots of fun!  But this year they are doing something a little different.   They are introducing a new way to pay.

Every year we can count on two things: The weather is never predictable and Wonderland Park will open Easter weekend.  The crowds will begin to flock to the amusement park to have fun with the family and enjoy their inner child.

But this year, Wonderland visitors will notice a new way to pay.  They are trying to go cashless!  Don't worry, it's not what you think.  If you come with nothing but cash, you can still have fun.  The new system is called Core will enable people to use electronic wristband and a WOW Card to pay for rides and concession stands.

This is the same concept that places like Dave and Busters use.  You get a reusable card, that resembles a credit card, and you add money to it.  You can put whatever amount of money you'd like on it.  Then, you can swipe the card to ride the extra rides, like the Texas Tornado or Drop of Fear, buy snacks at the concession stand, or play miniature golf. As you ride rides or buy from the concession, money will be deducted.

The goal is to help people get in faster and better serve everyone. There will also be perks for using the card.  The system will offer different levels for the guests.  And they will be offering the Ultimate WOW card that will allow you to ride ALL the rides and play mini golf.

Once everything is fully implement, customers will be able to purchase online and skip the lines and wait time.

Do  you think this will be a great addition to the park?
