Would You Be For or Against The Ban Of Fireworks in Amarillo & Surrounding Areas?

The law says you cannot pop fireworks within city limits, but now the law wants to ban fireworks period this fourth of July.

The first thing that pops in your head when you think of Fourth of July is what? Fireworks right? Hanging out with family and friends and when your not watching the firework show you are putting on one of your own.

Well that might not happen this summer in Amarillo or surrounding areas. Let me just start by saying it would be TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE if fireworks were banned in this area. With all of the fires happening I would think the ban would be considered. That is unless if we do not get any rain in the region here soon and a significant amount to keep the ban lifted. But I want to know what all the Kat Country listeners think about it. Would this ruin your Fourth of July or do you support the idea after all the damage caused these past weeks with the fires in the Texas Panhandle.
