MasterCard is launching brand new technology where you may never need a password again!

Selfies always come in handy at a concert or out with friends so you can remember the moment. But how would you feel if you could start paying for stuff online by snapping a pic of your face?

In an effort to help prevent internet fraud, MasterCard is basically saying there is no better way to prove that you're, in fact, you, than by snapping a selfie.

Basically, the selfie works as a password. Instead of putting in a set of letters and numbers that any old hacker could guess, you submit a nice self-portrait.

MasterCard has said that you can't use the same picture over and over. So they will know when you're doing online shopping in bed on a Saturday at 4 p.m. and haven't taken a shower.
