It seems like 2019 is a world away with everything that has happened so far in 2020.

When the New Year got here and I saw a new billboard pop up leaving Downtown Amarillo I thought this was a great play for this local company. I thought it was a great campaign. I mean we all want 20/20 vision so I thought it was well played.

I did. The last few weeks I thought as I saw it leaving work that maybe this was not a great billboard to have now. Nobody wants to take ownership for this year. Really we don't.

What was once a great marketing campaign is now something I would want to distance myself from this year.

Kudos to Broome Optical for taking this 2020 vision campaign on. They are a great company. I do think now would be a good time to distance myself from wanting to take ownership of this year. That is for sure.
