Aubrie Sellers hardly looks like a woman ready to "Sit Here and Cry" during her Live From Austin set. The singer's forceful delivery runs counter to the sympathetic words she's singing. See for yourself during this exclusive Taste of Country video premiere.

The song is part of Aubrie Sellers: Live From Austin, a concert special airing on Friday (Oct. 7) at 9:30PM ET on the Audience Network. The country newcomer performs songs from her critically acclaimed New City Blues album and sits down for an intimate interview.

Sellers is the daughter of Lee Ann Womack and songwriter Jason Sellers. She cut New City Blues and released it independently early in 2016. The album didn't have a radio single as she said she wanted it to speak for itself. During an interview with Taste of Country, she shared that she was more interested in building a strong fan base the old fashion way: one song, album and concert at a time.

Bet You Can’t Look Away from Aubrie Sellers Singing “My Babe”

This fall the singer signed with Warner Music Nashville, and they re-released her album and released "Sit Here and Cry" as her first single. The bluesy, harmonica-driven country rocker is described as garage country, as she's influenced by female garage rock bands of the early '00s as well as bluegrass and classic rock.

Another song Sellers performs during her Live From Austin special is "Losing Ground." In contrast to the loud and dirty "Sit Here and Cry," this ballad is a slow and emotional story of a battle with mental illness.

“I don’t think it ever crossed my mind to not include it because it was too personal, as far as people are going to see the real me,” Sellers told ToC earlier this year, admitting the story is her story. “It was more, is anyone going to connect to this.”

Fans can watch a clip of that performance as well.

Tune in Friday, Oct. 7 at 9:30PM ET/PT to watch the full concert special Aubrie Sellers: Live From Austin on AT&T’s Audience Network on DirecTV Ch 239/U-verse Ch 1114.
