If you're a fan or horror movies, there's something coming up you need to keep an eye out for. It looks like Tascosa Drive-In might be going a bit old school. But instead of just a double feature, there's a massive marathon coming.

A "Dust Til Dawn" Horror Marathon At Tascosa Drive-In

Something that goes hand-in-hand with people reminiscing about the "good old days" of drive-in movies, are the memories of watching double features and marathons that introduced us to what are now classic horror movies.

Pretty much all we know is that sometime soon, there will be a horror movie marathon at Amarillo's very own drive-in theater. It sounds like it will go from sundown to sunrise.

Each car gets two spots? Heck yeah. Bring a tent and a sleeping bag? Every Friday 13th fan knows that's a bad idea if you're parked near a tree.

Will It Be One-off Horror Movies, Or Franchises?

There isn't much to go on. The art posted along with the announcement contains references to some of the biggest horror movie villains of all time.

Freddy is represented. Jigsaw is there. Michael Myers is there. Even the creepy kid from The Grudge series is in one piece of artwork.

I think it's safe to assume that the photos posted along with the announcement don't have much to give us in terms of clues.

While It would be great to watch several Friday 13th movies in a row at the drive-in, I personally hope they mix it up a bit.

Make it a who's-who of all the characters that haunted our nightmares as children, that we all wound up loving.

The cover photo for Tascosa Drive-In's features Captain Spaulding and Shaun from Shaun Of The Dead. I would love to see Shaun Of The Dead and House Of 1000 Corpses. I missed seeing both of them in the theater when they came out.

No matter what winds up being shown, it sounds like it will be a night at the drive-in to remember. I guess for now we watch and wait for updates.
