Hodgetown recently announced that it will be hosting a big Texas Country festival. Today, they announced another music event that will be taking place this year.

Symphony Under the Stars is back at Hodgetown in Amarillo, Texas. This year will be the sixth annual night spent with music under the stars at Hodgetown. The event will take place on Saturday, September 6. Gates open at 6 PM.

Symphony Under The Stars features the only professional symphony orchestra in the Texas Panhandle. The Amarillo Symphony will spend the evening playing music from some of the most iconic films of all time.

What to Expect at Symphony Under the Stars

The performance will feature the music of John Williams. Pieces will be from films like E.T.Star WarsHarry Potter, and several more.

The night is capped off with a massive fireworks show. The press release does state that food and drinks will be available as well. It's an entire evening of entertainment that is family-friendly.

Tickets and Event Info

Tickets are now officially on sale for the Symphony Under The Stars event at Hodgetown. They start at $14. You can find ticket information on the Sod Poodles website. You can also purchase tickets in person at the Hodgetown box office.

It's been interesting to see what events will take place at Hodgetown when we don't have baseball in town. We've had a variety of events, and I'm happy to see that more music events are being scheduled at the ballpark.
