For 2025 in Amarillo, it looks like we're going to have to wait for spring to really settle in. March, according to the Farmer's Almanac, is exactly what you would expect it to be; chilly with a mix of snow and rain. There's not one stretch in March that doesn't include the words cold, snow, or rain.

Yay. April, however, looks to be when we finally get to shake off these winter blues.

That's great news considering right now we have snow and single-digit temperatures. I honestly can't wait. The downside is that they say that we'll have below-average precipitation. Enjoy that rain and snow in March if it happens.

If the Almanac is right, we still have one month of this nonsense to get through. Hopefully, they aren't and things get warmer sooner rather than later.
