As you walk into your front door in Amarillo, and just take a look around you might notice something. You walk from room to room, and you notice that you and your family are big readers. You notice the overflowing bookshelves.

What Can You Do With Those Gently Used Books?
The kids books you can simply donate to Storybridge. They take those books and hand those out to other kids to enjoy. It's the circle of life for many kids books. Storybridge does so much to help the kids of Amarillo have plenty of books to read. There are several places around town where you can drop off books for Storybridge.
Now you are looking at the boxes of books that you once enjoyed and now want to give a new life. There are plenty of places that will take them. You can bring them to different thrift stores around Amarillo.

You can bring them to Aunt Eek's bookstore. They will give you money for the books that they want to keep and sell at the store. The others will be donated around town to jails and other organizations.
Over the past several years, those neighborhood libraries have popped up in different front yards of people's yards around the Texas Panhandle. It's a nice place to pick up a book, trade in a book, or even donate some of your gently used books as well.
There are several places around Amarillo to donate those books to let others share your love for them. Choose a location and get those books onto another family so that now you can get a new book or two to start on.
