Amarillo’s Skate Plex Hosts Bi-Monthly Homeschool Skating Specials

Spring is here and the weather is getting pretty nice here in Amarillo. It sure seems to put a lot of us in a good mood. We want to get out and do stuff. There are businesses that are excited to have you.

Now if your kids are homeschooled there are special days at places just for you. I didn't realize how big homeschooling is here in Amarillo. I am long past those days but it is a great choice for a lot of families.

Skate Plex For Your Homeschooled Student

I am in several social media groups here in Amarillo that talk about the option to homeschool. While that is not an option for all families it is one out there. You might think that one of the things your kids will miss out on is the field trip. Of course not, there are plenty of options.

Those options continue to grow as Skate Plex at 9721 Coulter Street has just announced its Spring Homeschool Hours. They are going to be open on the first and third Friday of the month from 1:30 pm - 4 pm. For just six dollars you can bring your homeschooled child out. That cost also includes the price of rental skates.

This is a very affordable and fun field trip for your child. Plus you know this will bring you back to your glory days as well. You can skate with them or sit back and watch for free. Skating and spring in the Texas Panhandle. What could be better?
