Do you know a student getting ready to start college? Or do you know anyone currently working on their degree? You know how expensive getting a higher education is these days, so when you can get the chance to get help, you take it.

Coming up on Tuesday, April 22nd, is the B Fly Blood Drive at Coffee Memorial Blood Center - 7500 Wallace Boulevard. This drive is in memory of Brittany Fly-Sims. Her husband, Arron Sims, hosts this blood drive every year.

It's a great way to honor the memory of Brittany, and Arron also uses it to help college students. Not only does the blood drive help to keep the blood in Amarillo flowing, but it can also help the cash flow of a poor student.

How Can You Help With the Blood Supply and Cash Supply?

The blood drive is going on from 9 am until 7 pm. Every donor not only helps the blood supply in Amarillo but can also help a college student. All you have to do is nominate someone who is getting ready to start college or is currently in college.

Three students will win a $2,000 scholarship to help with their journey. So you can come in and nominate yourself, or get your friends and family to stop by and nominate you as they are giving blood. This will be a huge win for three lucky college students.

We at Townsquare Media will also be out at Coffee Memorial Blood Center from 10 am - 2 pm and will have a Cinergy Entertainment Family Fun Pack to give away as well. You can win a 4-pack of movie tickets, 4 Cokes, 4 popcorns, 4 laser tag tickets, and 4 skywalker passes.

Come give blood, remember Brittany, and say hello to Arron and his family. Make sure you give the gift of life and nominate a student who could use some college money. It will be a good time on Tuesday.
