Some businesses here in Amarillo make it and some don't. Some try really hard. They may move locations. They may run specials. They may try everything that they can and in the end, it is all the same. Another closed business in Amarillo.

That is what happened with the building on Paramount that at one point housed Ruby Tequila's. It was a bright purple building that nobody could miss. Then Ruby's moved locations and ended up on Georgia Street before they closed for good.

After that Joe Daddy's moved in. Until they closed as well. Then earlier this year some movement was taking place in that building. It had been years since anything was happening in that location. So we were surprised when a club moved from downtown Amarillo into that location.

Club Nova moved in and opened its doors back in mid-February. They had several events by looking at their Facebook page. Then at the end of July, they went silent. On their last Facebook page, someone actually commented a few weeks ago asking if they had closed down. No response.

They have had no action on that page since July 31st. Now, it seems that the sign says it all. I got a message from a friend over the weekend letting me know that they noticed a sign that says it all.

As quickly as Club Nova opened in that location it seems that they have closed as well. The sign up front says that it is available. Their Facebook page seems to look that way too. Nothing since the end of July.

If you didn't know they were closed it's ok. Chances are you never even knew they were open.
