So here we are getting closer and closer to Christmas. You know that most wonderful time of the year. We are hurrying to get all of our gifts bought. We are planning our Christmas dinner.

Whose houses are we visiting for the holidays this year? There are so many plans to be made. So many gifts to be bought. Oh, and then we have to wrap them all. Or go out and buy a lot of gift bags. The way that I wrap those really are a lifesaver.

I love when we can start new traditions for the holidays. One of the best ones has been to have fireworks for Christmas. Why not? We already got to enjoy some this year already with Canyon's Christmas celebration over the weekend.

Canyon is not the only one that knows how to put on a show. We have fireworks in Amarillo this year as well. In fact, this is the second year in a row for Christmas in the Sky. It will again be happening at Hodgetown.

The Sod Poodles have found a way to bring some Christmas magic as well.

This event will be free once again. They will give out free hot chocolate, milk and cookies to enjoy while watching the show. This will be the biggest fireworks show this year. Oh, and Hodgetown puts on quite a show.

New this year will be a live Christmas jazz performance. So much holiday cheer will be waiting for you and your family. There will be no assigned seating but other rules still apply including their clear bag policy.

Just make sure this event is on your calendar. Bring some blankets so you can get cozy. The family will love the fireworks show again this year.
