Tascosa Drive-In has been back for almost a year since they closed down in Amarillo. Since they have come back, they have added a few things. They have also suffered some damage.

As they are still working on the repairs for the damage from the wind event earlier this year, they are going on with business. They are open for family fun on the weekend. I am looking forward to the family coming to town this summer to enjoy a couple of movies like I used to as a kid.

Can't wait to introduce another generation—my granddaughter—to the drive-in experience. Until that happens soon, they are also bringing back another fun event this month.

Upcoming Shop & Swap Event Details

The Shop and Swap is back. They hosted one earlier this year. The first one was right as the drive-in's season was starting in Amarillo, and that wind hurricane took over. The show did still go on, and they had the sale.

This month, they're ready to bring it back without all the drama. The Shop & Swap is coming back. If you are a vendor, now is the time to reserve your spot. Whether you have a product you sell, baked goods to tempt us with, or are just looking to sell some of the stuff cluttering up your home, now is your chance.

The Shop & Swap is happening out at the Tascosa Drive-In, Saturday, June 21st from 10 am - 5 pm. It will be a fun day of shopping with your family and friends. You can even make plans to head back later in the evening to catch the double feature.

Tascosa Drive-In is one of the few remaining drive-ins here in Texas, and we need to appreciate that. We need to get out and support them whenever we can.
