You can make a career doing whatever you love if you just look hard for it in Amarillo. I mean being in a state like this opens up a lot of doors for fun and unusual jobs. They are probably not so unusual here in Texas but not easy to come by in other states.

Scrolling through social media, you see job postings from time to time. Some really good jobs that make you stop and think for a moment. Is it time for me to make a change? Maybe. Especially if you love being around horses.

It's Texas and even though when I moved here I wasn't gifted a horse like I thought. I mean I really thought I would be riding a horse to school every day. I was excited about my change of transportation. I was sorely disappointed when the house we bought didn't have a horse for me to take to Canyon Junior High every day.

Some of my friends did have horses. It was not just a given right to every Texan as they were born or moved into the area. I mean at a young age that is what I thought. Even though I did not have that experience there are plenty that grew up with horses around them.
