Woman Wins $1 Million From Lottery Ticket Hidden in a Bible!
A woman in Virginia wanted to make sure that her lottery ticket didn't go missing, while also trying to give it a stroke of good luck, so she hid it in her Bible.
Jacqueline Mangus was at a deli in Virginia, getting some food when she decided to purchase a lottery ticket.
She bought a ticket for Virginia's New Year's Millionaire Raffle.
Doing what we all might do, she wanted to make sure the ticket didn't get lost, so she put it somewhere safe and forgot about it.
Something magical happened while that paper ticket was stuck between those holy pages. But Mangus didn't know that at the time the clock struck 12 and the calendar turned to 2025.
When she woke up and watched her local news the next day, she realized that the numbers that they were announcing for the winning lottery ticket seemed quite close to her numbers. Enough so for her to get up and go grab her ticket from her Bible.
When she did, she confirmed she had indeed won the $1 million jackpot. According to Upi.com, she told lottery officials that she "tickled to death" that she had won the grand prize.
Don't go trying to get in touch with this sweet lady trying to borrow money or harass her for donations, as she says she has no clue what she wants to do with the money yet.
