It's crazy to start thinking about the fall season, but as fast as summer has flown by, fall is just a blink away.  With fall comes fall activities in Amarillo and Canyon.

One of those great fall activities is heading out to the pumpkin patches and corn mazes. Our area has been blessed to have some amazing businesses that have opened up and invited the community and schools to enjoy fun fall activities.  However, one of those businesses will not be opening up for its regular fall season.

What Happened to Leonard Farms?

Storms tore through the Canyon area in June, causing damage to many homes and businesses. One of those businesses was Leonard Farms.  Leonard Farms Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch has been open for the last 4 years, bringing another choice to the people of the Texas Panhandle for fall fun.

Why Was the Leonard Farms Fall Season Canceled?

Due to the damage from the June 8th storms, Leonard Farms announced that it will not be able to host its regular fall season due to the damage.

The storms on June 8th caused lots of damage to our corn maze agriculture activities and corn maze supplies and we unfortunately will not be able to open for our regular season and field trip season this year.

Check out the damage from the storm here.

Is the Haunted Maze Still Happening?

However, all is not lost; they are still bringing some haunting fun to the area. Leonard Farms will have its Haunted Maze.
