Pampa Man Arrested For Child Pornography

Juan Garcia Perez,44, of Pampa was arrested by the Texas Department of Public Safety on January 19th for child pornography charges.

Lieutenant Terry Cox of the Gray Country Sheriff's office told ConnectAmarillo.com "The troopers did not ask for our assistance, made the arrest in the city limits and showed up at the salle-port to book in the suspect."

Perez was booked and give a $25,000 bond. He is facing charges of possession of child pornography charges, that is a third degree felony. He could face two to ten years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
