Ooh this is about to get good. We have hoped. We have wished. We have pleaded with the powers that be. For all that is good in the world. Please bring a Buc-ee's to Amarillo.
Last Wednesday the Enclave Apartments on I-40 had a building that was engulfed by flames. At the end of the day thirty-one tenants were without a home.
For about five or six months of the year you can find me and one of my friends doing a lot of walking around Amarillo. You will know it is us because we are wearing bright pink.
I think I have finally experienced euphoria. That was the morning I was driving to work and realized they opened up the ramp to enter I40 from Georgia. I mean that morning is what dreams are made of. The end of some long road construction
This is nothing new but is something that some people either forget about or may just not know. Whenever I can save some time in this busy world I sure take advantage of it. Anything I can do online that will save me a trip and waiting in line is definitely something I am all in favor for.
You have out of town friends coming to visit. What is one of the places they look to want to go visit? We have several places that need to be visited. We take them out to Palo Duro Canyon. If it is in season then how about checking out The Musical Drama Texas?
It seems like every day there is something new that is making us tired. For me I feel it is my trips down I-40. I mean this construction is exhausting. Wouldn't you agree? Ok maybe that is really not what I should be talking about.
We really need to lighten up a bit. We need to enjoy the funny things we see here in Amarillo. If you just drive around town you will see many things that you can only see in Amarillo.
