Netflix Will Stream ‘The Interview’ Starting on Saturday
If you haven’t watched Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s ‘The Interview’ yet, either because you’re too cheap to spend $6 to rent it online, or you were worried North Korean hackers would catch you buying it and share your private emails slagging your boss with the world (I’m sorry Mike! When I called you “a giant goober,” I meant that in an affectionate way, like Goobers candy! Which everyone loves!) you are in luck. As part of their quarterly letter to shareholders, Netflix announced that they will “exclusively” offer the comedy to its U.S. and Canadian customers starting this Saturday, January 24. Just last week it seemed possible that 'The Interview' may never be seen anytime soon as Sony Pictures canceled the theatrical release and claimed they had no immediate plans for a VOD debut. Set in St. Louis, the sketch starts with Beck Bennett as a news anchor for “News 4” (which is the CBS affiliate in St. Louis) relaying a serious presentation of current events, right before he hands it off to two morning show hosts (played by Kenan Thompson and Cecily Strong) who have an obnoxious show with an obnoxious theme song called ‘Rise and Smile.’ First, there’s no way this sketch should have been cut, but that’s a pretty obvious position to take.

Do you ever wonder what happens on late night shows during the commercial breaks? Does the host and his or her current guest sit there in silence? Do they craft a way to steer their interview once the cameras are back on them? Do they simply drink coffee from their ever-ready mugs? Turns out, if it's 'The Tonight Show' and host Jimmy Fallon is in the middle of interviewing James Franco, the two of

‘Homefront’ Red-Band Trailer: The Ultimate Battle Between Jason Statham and James Franco
We're not sure what excites us more about this new 'Homefront' trailer. Is it James Franco playing a lunatic meth dealer with a crazy Southern accent? Or is it the thought of his violent redneck character engaging in a life or death struggle with the eternally angry Jason Statham? In any case, 'Homefront' looks more like an '80s movie you'd find tucked away at a lonely mom and pop video store than

Comedy Central to Roast James Franco Next
On the occasions in which Comedy Central puts someone outside the realm of comedy to roast, as most recently with comedienne Roseanne Barr, we always hope they deserve it. Thankfully, this year will hold true as the cable network has seated 'This Is the End' star and "Academy Award-nominated actor-director-writer-producer-artist" James Franco on the throne as its latest roastee. Did a College Professor Get Fired for Giving James Franco a ‘D?’
Eccentric actor (and Oscar host) James Franco is almost as well-known for being a professional student as he is for his on-screen roles. But a professor at New York University didn’t think much of Franco’s scholastic ability and gave him a “D” — and now that teacher says he got the ax because of it.
