JB and the Moonshine Band

Last Friday, Dec. 13th, JB and the guys stopped by our studio to perform on the Ashley Furniture HomeStore Front Porch. All-in-all they ended up hanging out and singing for a full hour -- much to the pleasure of the 50 plus in attendance.

Earlier this week, in honor of No Shave November, we compiled the Top 5: Best Beards in Texas Music. Today we go the opposite route. Here's our list of guys who don't need a beard, men getting it done without hiding behind facial hair -- it's our Top 5: Baby Faces in Texas Music.

A big congratulations to my good friends JB and Regina Patterson, who welcomed their second child, a beautiful baby girl named Buddy Logan Stella Reign Patterson into the world this week. Stella arrived at 12:44 am Wednesday, she is 7lbs 14 oz, 19 inches long.

Last week JB and the Moonshine Band stopped by Radio Texas, LIVE! for the world debut of their brand new single "Black and White" featuring Angaleena Presley of Pistol Annie fame. We did that, had some fun, plus the guys sang a brand new song "Light it Up."

The Taste of Country Christmas Tour is only a few days away!  That means that Casey James and JB and the Moonshine Band will be taking the stage.  Cadillac Cruz recently interviewed Casey James and called him out on being a momma's boy!

Rolling Stone has announced their pick of the five best country albums of 2012, and the list leans traditional. New projects by Kellie Pickler, Jamey Johnson and Texas country band JB and the Moonshine Band made the cut, which was revealed on the magazine's website on Friday (Dec. 7).

2012 has been the year for JB & The Moonshine Band. Since the release of their latest CD "Beer for Breakfast" their latest single "No Better Than This" topped out at #1 on the Texas Regional Radio Charts.

December is here and that means the Taste of Country Christmas Tour will be here in no time!  With two great acts taking the stage the question arises, 'Who'd you rather have a beer with, Casey James or JB and the Moonshine Band?'

During the month of November, Casey James and his band grew out their beards for No Shave November.  Last Friday, during a concert, he shaved it off on stage.

It's always fun when bands host contests in honor of their music.  JB and the Moonshine band is doing just that.  In honor of their latest single, 'Kissing Me That Way'  they are hosting a Kissing Booth Photo Contest.

Texas country stars JB and the Moonshine Band are itching to begin the Taste of Country Christmas Tour this week. The first show of the run -- a stop in Abilene, Texas -- is scheduled for Thursday (Nov. 15). Lead singer JB Patterson tells Taste of Country Nights radio host Jeremy Robinson that he's especially looking forward to playing dates with Casey James, who's also on the bill.

A Florida man was singing the song "Ain't Goin' Back To Jail" right before the police arrested him and took him to jail.
