Rain

The old saying goes, "If you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes."

With all of the winter weather we recently had, they can get worse.

Natural disasters don't always give you a heads up so make sure you do these things to be ready in case you're faced with one.

Just in time for the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving, our weather in the Texas panhandle is about to make a major change.

We have had some beautiful weather here in the Texas Panhandle. We have also had some less than stellar days. It's I guess what we love about the Panhandle.

This weekend proves that groundhogs have absolutely no bearing, what-so-ever, on the weather.

Over the past few months, Amarillo has seemed like the orange cone capital of the world.

We have seen a very stormy and rainy start to October which is just what the Texas Panhandle needed.

It looked like pond water; soft brown with green leafs floating on top and two raw quail-egg yolks suspended in the murky waters.

Thanks to the much needed rain we’ve gotten over the last few weeks, we now have a mosquito problem in Amarillo.

Amarillo has received a lot of rain in the last few weeks.  It seems almost as if we decided to switch place with Seattle for a month.  We have seen at least a bit of rain nearly every day for the last two weeks.  We have also seen some torrential downpours and storms.  We have had so much rain that we are breaking records.

We may not get it often, but when it rains, it pours... literally.
