A friendly reminder that being decent can go a long way

It's one of those things that as a new mom you look forward to every year. I am talking about taking your child to see Santa Clause. We can't wait to see those precious smiles as Santa asks what they want for Christmas.

In a year that has had more downs than ups it is nice to have something that is able to happen. We have had many events have to cancel. We have had others that decided to postpone until a later date. Some events have been able to find a way to go on.

I remember my very first Christmas as a single mom. Faith was 3 years old. I was quite nervous about how I was going to make this all work.

Have you had the chance to tell Santa what you want for Christmas yet?

It happens A LOT. You see those kids that are thrilled about seeing Santa Clause. It took a long time for me to get those kind of kid with Santa pictures.

In 2016, one of America's biggest jerks ruined Christmas for a bunch of kids in line to see Santa at an Amarillo mall. Now, he's done the same thing in Alaska.

It seems each year there is something new for Christmas. So what's the new trend this Christmas?

Christmas is always a fun time of the year.  You go to church, trim the tree and visit Santa.  Well, over the weekend an Amarillo man tried to ruin Christmas for a bunch of kids.

Santa Claus isn't coming to town. That's because he's already here.
