Over the weekend around 12 states were hit by severe storms covering from Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and western New York. Rain downpours,severe winds, also a few Tornadoes were part of these strong storms.

Waking up Wednesday morning to the thunder and good ole rain was a good way to start today. Well, for most of us it was a good thing. But, it wasn't all good. There were others that had power outages thanks to the morning storm.

For those of you who haven’t heard of ‘Storm Chasers,’ it was a documentary reality television series on the Discovery Channel. Unfortunately for fans, this exhilarating show was cancelled earlier this year. Luckily, the internet provides us the opportunity to watch some of the craziest clips from the show.

A powerful storm system that spawned several tornadoes ripped through parts of the Midwest early Wednesday morning, leaving millions of dollars of damage and at least 13 people dead in its wake. Early damage photos are showing that the devastation ranges from mild to severe.
