Screams, thrills, and carnival food return!

We were having our weekly meeting here at the radio station and trying to come up with story ideas. It's something we do as a group on Mondays. It was mentioned that Wonderland announced its opening date for this year.

As the school year is coming to another end you may be talking to your kiddos about getting a summer job. A lot of us have had those growing up. It teaches them responsibilities. It really does. Plus, let's face it they will have their own money.

Do you have reason to worry about safety at Wonderland? No, I don't think so.

Wonderland Park is somewhere I think we all grew up at. I know I loved going as a kid when I moved to the area back in 1986. I spent many nights there in high school too. Once my daughter was born I couldn't wait to introduce her to the rides.

Have you ever really felt passionate about a non-profit here in our area? Maybe you donate when you can. Maybe you don't have the money but would really like to help. Either way today is the day to help out so much here in the Amarillo area.

We are less than a month away from Mother's Day. Of course this is the warning to make sure you remember to do something nice for your mom. If she is anything like me she sure doesn't expect anything expensive from her kids.
