Do you think there should be more strict rules and regulations when it comes to police officers using the taser gun?

loading...

Ever since police officers have been using taser guns a few years back all you see is story after story about how they are abusing there authority when it comes to using the taser guns.

The bad thing is alot of these incidents are caught on camera for the world to see and still officers feel like they have to use the gun in situations in which it is not necessary.

For instance, one Pennsylvania police officer used his force against a helpless 14 year old girl. The officer said that he had the right to use it because the Pennsylvania high school has been having problems after school is dismissed. In the video the cop pushes her up agianst a car on the side of the road, when the girl tries to push the cop away he then pulls out his taser gun shoots her in the groin and the girl falls to the ground.

I think the officer could have apprehended her without using the gun seeing that he is 2 times the size of her and he is a police officer. So my question to is, with all of these stories coming up all the time about police officers abusing there authority with excessive force, do you think this is wrong?
