As much as it costs for healthcare, many go without it for long periods of time.  The Amarillo Civic Center wants to make sure our elderly are treated so they are hosting a Senior Fall Festival.

Thursday, October 16th, the Amarillo Civic Center will open up their Heritage Room for the Senior Fall Festival.  It is absolutely free to the public.  This is a way to make sure all senior citizens get the healthcare they need without the worry of not being able to pay.

They will be doing lab work from 9-noon and fasting is required.  They will also have flu shots available for medicare recipients.

The fall festival will have health screenings, educational offerings, recreational opportunities, senior living information, along with games and prizes.  If you have a loved one that can benefit from any of this, the Senior Fall festival lasts until 1pm.
