If you are the type of person who does not like to wear seat belts for whatever reason, you might wanna buckle up now the "Click it or Ticket Campaign" has kicked off once again.

The Texas Department of Transportation has joined forces with the Amarillo Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety to send the message that seat belts save lives.

According to ConnectAmarillo.com "Texas law requires drivers and all passengers in a vehicle to be secured by a safety belt, including adult passengers riding in the back seat.  Children younger than eight years old must be in a child safety seat or booster seat unless they are taller than 4 feet 9 inches.  Fines are up to $250 plus court costs."
