Eating Alone Is a Treat With Giant Stuffed Animals to Make You Feel Less Like a Loser
Eating at a table for one no longer has to feel so lonely.
Japan's Moomin Cafe has come up with a novel way to make customers eating by themselves enjoy the experience: the eatery puts people at tables with giant stuffed animals.
They probably make for good eating companions -- they're not going to bug you by asking to try your food, they won't pretend to run to the bathroom when the bill comes and you know going in that the conversation won't be awkward (mostly because there is no dinner conversation, although if there is, your next stop after eating should be to a therapist).
