After the New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI 21-17, one rookie linebacker felt it was the right time to start a new chapter in his life with his future soul mate.

Giants rookie linebacker Greg Jones had it all planned out, if the Giants were victorious he would propose to is girlfriend Amanda after the game, and if the Giants were to lose Jones said he was going to wait for another time to purpose. But last night was the right time.

Jones, who met his college sweetheart Amanda at Michigan State was playing football while she was a basketball star. Jones had practice star tight end Christian Hopkins hold the ring until the game was over, then Hopkins handed the ring to Jones and he proposed to new fiance Amanda.

"I was like, I don't know how long she is going to keep crying," Jones told reporters after he proposed after the Giants victory.
