Barbi Looking To Remodel Her Dream House

If you played with Barbie's when you were little you knew the importance of also having the Barbie dream house. No waiting for Ken to buy one for her ! Of course it was perfect and pink with a sweet water park right outside, or at least mine was anyways lol. But now real life architects are being asked to design the new and improved Barbie house. I'm not sure if her and Ken split ways or things have just been really good and it's time for an upgrade. Either way, The American Institute of Architects are competing for the top design. But just like any homeowner , Barbie has a few demands according to MSN.

" A spacious home office, stylish kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances (I can't believe she didn't mention granite), a large master bath (no mention of two sinks or of Ken) and a three-car garage. She does have one unusual request: a yard large enough for her giraffe to play in.She apparently isn't going to join the trend of urban living, since she wants her dream house to overlook the ocean and her large yard.

The competition will run through June 27, and the public will be able to vote for their favorite of five finalists between July 12 and Aug. 1. The winner will be announced Aug. 2. I wonder if Barbie is looking to upgrade the car as well, maybe it's time for Ken to shell out for an Escalade or BMW :)
