One of the biggest 4th of July celebrations in the area is in Canyon.

Canyon has a population of about 16,000 people and when the 4th of July rolls around for the day, it explodes to over 40,000 people because this event has become a fun family tradition for everyone all over the Texas Panhandle.  In fact, it's the largest 4th of July celebration in the Texas Panhandle.
