This weekend, a different kind of tribute show will be making its way into Amarillo. Beatles vs. Stones will pit the two most iconic British rock bands against each other at the Globe-News Center For the Performing Arts on Sunday, Oct 13.

For the performance, they've enlisted the help of local high school students.

A string quartet from Caprock High School will accompany the bands as they battle it out on stage. According to a press release, the students performing are:

Caprock High School seniors Raul Zuniga, Casey Casias, Thipphavanh Keophimphone, and Jada Wooten will join the bands for the songs "Eleanor Rigby," "A Day in the Life,"'Yesterday," "Hello Goodbye," "Hey Jude," "As Tears Go By," and "Ruby Tuesday."

The concert is performed by Abbey Road, one of the nation's top Beatles tribute bands, and Satisfaction - The International Rolling Stones Show. According to a press release, the concert will feature "... multimedia, period costumes, and vintage instruments."

Tickets are on sale at panhandletickets.com, and the show starts at 7pm.
