Dwight Yoakam will be performing in Amarillo on September 1st at the Amarillo Civic Center.  He hit the country music scene when he released his album Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc. Etc.

Dwight Yoakam has been nominated for a total of 18 Grammy awards and had won 2 Grammys.  One in 1993 for Beat Vocal Performance Male for Ain't That Lonely Yet, and Best Male Country Vocal Performance in 2001 for A Thousand Miles from Nowhere.

Here's hoping this gets you in the mood for some really great hits from Dwight Yoakam.  You have an opportunity to see this legend live in Amarillo.

Dwight Yoakam isn't only a great musician he's also a great actor.  He's best known for Slingblade, but he's been in several other great films, Wedding Crashers, Four Christmases, Panic Room, and Crank just to name a few.

Dwight Yoakam has visited Amarillo several times over the years, he played the now-defunct Midnight Rodeo on May 12, 2006, The Amarillo Civic Center on February 16, 2017, and most recently on October 22, 2021.  Now he's back at the Amarillo Civic Center on Friday, September 1, 2023.
