In the aftermath of the horrific Sandy Hook shootings, the tight-knit community of Newtown, Conn. has received incredible worldwide support. Although nothing could ever fill the deep void left in the small town, many individuals -- including country's own Kenny Chesney -- are finding ways to lend their support amidst devastation.

Country Music Tattle Tale reports that the 'El Cerrito Place' singer has recorded a special version of the heartfelt song 'Amazing Grace' for Anderson Cooper's 'United in Newtown' special, which will air Monday evening (Jan. 14). The special will showcase Cooper visiting several Newtown families and asking intentional questions.

In Cooper's visit, he touches on the debate regarding gun control and showcases the widespread support from all over, including a look into the warehouse holding letters, toys, and gifts from universal mourners. Additionally, it will offer a glimpse into the post-shooting lives of Mark Kelly and Gabrielle Gifford.

It is sure to be an emotional segment, graced with the smooth voice of the fan-favorite country crooner. Be sure to tune in to 'AC360°' tonight at 8 and 10PM ET. Hopefully, the special will provide some hope and healing for all of us.
