Ryan Leaf, 36, was the second overall pick in the NFL Draft in 1998 by the San Diego Chargers. His college career was one of the best any QB could ever have. It was when Leaf reached the NFL when everything started going downhill.

Leaf only spent 4 years in the NFL, in those years he was with four different teams including the San Diego Chargers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks.

Leaf also did some coaching here locally in Canyon, Texas at West Texas A&M University under head coach Don Carthel from 2006-2008 as the Volunteer QB's coach. He was later put on indefinite leave and resigned one day later from WTAMU after he allegedly asked a player for a pill so he could take away the pain in his wrist from a past injury.

Leaf was arrested this past weekend in Montana for the second time in four days. On Saturday, March 30th 2012 he was arrested in his hometown of Great Falls, Montana on drug, theft and burglary charges. Then again on Monday April, 1st on two counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
