The year 2020 has been far from typical, in country music and beyond. The COVID-19 pandemic began affecting Nashville in mid-March, causing virtually the entire touring and live music industry to grind to a halt. With appearances and performances canceled or postponed, the genre's typical summer schedule has been upended.

Still, that doesn't mean country stars have been silent. Throughout the year, they've been writing, recording and releasing music, and finding innovative ways to perform despite social distancing regulations.

It's hard to believe, but once again, Country Music's Biggest Night is drawing near. The 2020 CMA Awards will return late this fall, honoring some of the biggest strides country artists have made. Read on for everything we know so far about the show:

When and Where Are the 2020 CMA Awards?

The 2020 CMA Awards will take place on Nov. 11. The show usually airs live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville; however, this year, showrunners have booked Music City Center instead.

Where Can I Watch the 2020 CMA Awards and the 2020 CMA Awards Red Carpet?

The awards show will broadcast on ABC from 8PM ET to 11PM ET. The traditional pre-show red carpet will not take place in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Who's Hosting the 2020 CMA Awards?

A big shakeup is coming to the CMA Awards in 2020: Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker will take over hosting duties of the annual country music awards show, the Country Music Association announced on Oct. 5. It will be Rucker's first time hosting the event and McEntire's fifth time.

Shortly after last year's show, Carrie Underwood announced that she planned to step down after 12 years of hosting the CMA Awards. She spent several years co-hosting with Brad Paisley, and the pair's hilarious banter became a beloved hallmark of the show. In 2019, the CMAs underwent a host lineup shift, as Paisley stepped aside and Underwood co-hosted with McEntire and Dolly Parton as part of the show's spotlight on the legendary women of country music.

Who's Nominated at the 2020 CMA Awards?

On Sept. 1, Luke Combs and Carly Pearce kicked off the CMA's nominees list rollout during an appearance on ABC's Good Morning America. Subsequently, Ingrid Andress and Gabby Barrett revealed nominees in more categories, as well as the CMA Broadcast Awards finalists.

Each of the artists who helped share the news walked away with some nominations to their name; Combs scored a whopping six nods -- almost more than any other artist included in the nominees list. However, Miranda Lambert leads the pack overall, with seven nominations.

Who's Going to Win at the 2020 CMA Awards?

There's no telling exactly who will take home the prizes on Country Music's Biggest Night, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun guessing in the meantime! On the night of the CMA Awards, The Boot will keep fans updated in real time as winners are announced.

We do, however, know one of the night's winners already: Charley Pride will receive the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award this year.

Who's Presenting at the 2020 CMA Awards?

Lauren Akins, Lauren Alaina, Bobby Bones, Charles Esten, Sara Evans, supermodel Taylor Hill, Jake Owen, actor Patrick Schwarzenegger and gospel artist CeCe Winans will all serve as presenters at the 2020 CMA Awards.

Who Will Be Attending the 2020 CMA Awards?

That's a more precarious question in 2020 than it is in most years, since showrunners have to contend with social distancing regulations. Per a letter from CMA CEO Sarah Trahern, a live audience will not be invited to the show this year; only essential personnel will be allowed, which, according to a second statement from Trahern, includes nominees and their guests.

"It will be an honor to bring the biggest country stars in the world together -- in one room -- for the first time this year," adds Trahern, who describes the 2020 CMA Awards environment as "fully safe and physically distant."
