A 27-Pound Lobster Was Captured Off The Coast Of Maine!

A monster lobster weighing in at 27 lbs was caught off the coast of Maine.

I have always wanted to try lobster since I can remember, the only problem is I am allergic to Lobster or Crab. Since I don't remember which one it is exactly I just stay away from both of them, its probably the smart thing to do.

Robert Malone is a fisherman from Maine, he was out fishing for shrimp when he caught a monster off the coast of Rockland. A 27-lbs monster you would think would go good on a plate with some butter right? Wrong.

Malone has decided to donate the gigantic lobster to the Maine State Aquarium. The nearly 40-inch crustacean is only the size it is because of age. Experts say once a lobster reaches over 3 lbs it does not taste as good when cooked. So the smaller the better. Plus, the prices of lobster sells sunk along with the recession when it started back in 2008. The ginormous specimen has been named Rocky.
