Keith Martin, 42, of London, England may soon hold the world record for the biggest man on earth. At 812 lbs, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, it takes a team of 18 to help keep Martin alive since he is not able to get out of bed.

His days consist of watching TV, eating foods such as eight hot dogs for breakfast, chocolate bars, cakes and biscuits for lunch and 16 sausages a big bag of chips for dinner.

When Martin was a teenager his mother passed away, he says ever since her death it has caused him to eat uncontrollably. According to the Huffington Post Martin said “My mother died when I was 16 and I didn’t care about anything after that and I couldn’t care less about what happened to me - I ate anything and everything,” he told a film crew of a documentary airing next week on British television. "I blame myself. It was my fault and I hate what I have done to myself.”

Many people think that Martin could possibly be the biggest man alive on earth today. He wants to lose the weight but doctors say he would have to lose half of his current weight before being considered for weight loss surgery. The Guinness Book of Records currently holds Manuel Arribe of Mexico as the biggest man on earth weighing at at 1,235 lbs. Guinness officials say Arribe has been on a diet and at his least weigh in back in 2009 he was at 917 lbs.
