I'm originally from Chicago but moved to the Panhandle in 1986. I graduated from Canyon High School and went on to Amarillo College to learn all I can about radio. I've been on the radio for over twenty years and hope for many more. I love music, baseball, and the Investigation Discovery Channel. I have one daughter, Faith which you'll probably hear about on the air, one dog, Chipper, who is a Puggle, and Twilight the cat. You can find me at home cooking. I love to cook. I also love my Air Fryer and Instant Pot! What else does one need?
Don’t Step Right Up and Enjoy the Circus in Borger
Nothing is more fun than taking the family out and enjoying some time at the circus. All the death-defying acts and all of the animals to see. There are many memories to be made at a circus.
The Mystery Surrounding Tri’s Marketplace in Amarillo
Driving down Washington Street the other day I noticed the parking lot at Tri's Marketplace was empty. Not something I expected to see. They had a Grand Opening just back in November of 2020.

When Love Cost a Boys Ranch Teen His Life – A Look Back

Gem Lake Pool Still Brings Memories to Amarillo with What is Left
I posed the question a while ago about Gem Lake Road. Yes, it is called Gem Lake. Did that lake ever really exist? Even if it didn't there is definitely something that did leave it's memories on the area.
Downtown Amarillo Growing Again With New Restaurant
Amarillo is pretty much known for one thing. We have some great food. It amazes me how difficult it can be to pick a place to eat because we have a lot of choices. There is absolutely nothing wrong with choices at all.
It’s Technically Illegal To Do This While Driving in Texas
It seems like we are a society that is always on the run. We have so much to do. We need to get the kids from school. Go home to get homework done. Oh, and don't forget football practice this evening.
Mini Donuts are an Obsession I Don’t Want to Quit
They say that everything is bigger and better in Texas, right? You have heard that over and over. Well, let me just tell you that sometimes size does not matter. In fact, the smaller the better.
Amarillo Can Chalk Their Way to Fame This Weekend
I have always been envious of anyone that can draw. Anyone who has any artistic ability I am in awe of. I have no creativity and my hands just don't work like that. I took an art class in both seventh and eighth grade and it pained me.
