Are you just as confused about the upcoming school year as I am? Yeah, there is a lot of information to digest and every school district seems to have their own plan. As I am writing this, I am sure something will change, but I will do my best to give you just the facts and keep the information updated.

- Instruction: The district is allowing students to be taught either in-person at school or through virtual instruction from home. Students who choose virtual school will remain in that setting for a minimum of one grading period.
- Masks: All students in Pre-K through 12th grades will wear face coverings while at school. Students do not have to wear a mask while eating, however will be spaced out accordingly. Individual needs regarding face coverings will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Requests for accommodations should be submitted to campus administration. Additional protective equipment will be provided to school nurses for use in the clinic.
- Social Distancing: Students will sit one per table and be spread out throughout the classroom. The use of outdoor space for learning will be considered when possible. Classroom groups working outside will maintain at least 12-ft of social distancing from other classroom groups.
- Virus Testing: All students and staff will self screen for COVID-19 symptoms daily. Individuals with symptoms are required to stay home. A parent or guardian will be required to screen their children for COVID-19 symptoms each day prior to sending them to school. Parents are asked to take their child’s temperature daily. Additional screening may be conducted during the school day.
